Geitur (Currently in Development)
Geitur (Goats) is a game based around the primarily agricultural lifestyle that most historical Vikings would have lived. It is in development for players as young as five and aims to be a game that board game lovers can play with their kids as an alternative to most games which are aimed at (in terms of both strategy and content) adults.
The game takes place somewhere in the Orkney Islands where four viking families have farms. Around the island there are goats which eat the grass and produce two things: cheese & poop. Cheese is used to feed the families and poop fertilizes the ground to make more grass. Each player works to scare the goats away from other farms and onto their farm. At the end of the summer the family with the most cheese and the least poop on their farm wins!
